If you would like to spend a little more time with your loved one at home, just let us know and we will arrange to come at a more convenient time for you. Once embalming has taken place at our funeral home, we could bring your loved one home, if that is what you prefer.
Yes. Due to an increasing shortage of burial space it is becoming more and more costly for a burial funeral, with prices than higher a cremation funeral. However, burials are similar in cost if you already have an existing grave.
Muslims and Orthodox Jews do not allow cremation funerals. It is accepted by all Christian denominations, Hindus, Sikhs, Parsees and Buddhists.
It is preferable for jewellery to be removed before cremation takes place. However, some families wish certain items to remain with the deceased. Nothing can be removed from the coffin once it has been received in the crematoria.
Always on the same day and usually within a few hours.
Each cremator is only large enough to take one coffin. When a cremation is completed, the cremated remains are withdrawn into a separate chamber for cooling. Once reduced, the ashes are put into an individual identified container to await dispersal or collection.
