I have many memories as a young boy in the swan and the sweet shop you once had near the car park my thoughts are of happy memories and I’d like to give happy memories to Peter Sara and David
Thoughts are with you all god bless
What a lady Katy was! Fondest memories of our monthly walks and working beside her at the swan. She was full of life, very caring , dressed beautifully and a great laugh! She will be missed by so many.
RIP Katy, love Jackie & Ian xx
So many lovely memories Katy, we certainly had a lot of laughs and drank a lot of wine!
Memories of celebrating St Patrick’s day in Manchester can still bring me to tears, tears of laughter!
Mustn’t forget the parties, we had such fun throughout the years.
Life can be so unfair at times, you didn’t deserve these final years, rest in peace dear friend. ❤️❤️❤️
I will always remember the most fun childhood holidays spent with Katy Peter Sara and David …we went to Spain several times back in the 70s..Katy would always be laughing and smiling I can vision her in a long 70s dress on the dance floor with viva le spania being played by the hotel band. Xxxxx RIP now Katy I’m so thankful for the memories xxxx
Katy
For 6 years, 7 months and 14 days you have fought so hard and so bravely, maintaining your sense of humour throughout. I thought I knew you well from our friendship going back to 1996, travelling round the world together, too many social events to mention, loads of laughs and happy memories, as well as those tough times which bind you together.
Many would have given up the fight – I’d seen it happen frequently in my nursing career – but not you. I was soon to learn what a tough, resilient fighter you were. Your strength was admirable.
I know your infinite spirit will continue fighting for what you believe in, along with a lot of dancing of course.
Know that you were often in our thoughts and on our minds and that we think you are one brave, gutsy woman.
Rest well dear friend.
You will be forever in our hearts. ♥️
Much love
Margaret and Steve
