Passed away peacefully on 6th March 2025. Stephen aged 77 years of Elworth, Sandbach and formerly of Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Devoted husband of Dominique, dearly loved dad to Alex and David, father-in-law to Matt and Rachel, and doting papy to Charlotte, Lauren, Freddie and Nancy. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Alzheimer’s Society. Funeral service to be held at Bradwell Crematorium on Monday 24th March 2025 at 10:40am.

This is such a shock. We were neighbours of Stephen and Dominique’s for 6 years in Elworth and they were an amazing couple. Stephen was a lovely friendly gentleman who we found was always cheerful, and always had time for a chat. Our deepest sincere condolences and love go out to his wife Dominique and all their family at this incredibly sad and difficult time.
Dear Dominique:
My time of knowing you and Steve goes back to Barts Hospital when I was Secretary on the Medical Unit. You were living at Chartehouse Square and you invited me to lunch there.
I was recently going through my old movies I took there and decided to look up some of those I once knew only to find that Steve had passed away last March. What a sad revelation!
My heart goes out to you and your family at your great loss. I remember only too well the lovely couple you were and Steve was such a pleasure to work with.
I, too, no longer have my husband but my faith has me looking forward to the time when Jesus returns and the sleeping dead will be resurrected to life eternal, never to be parted again. May this hope be a comfort for you as well, in your time of deep sorrow. The signs are this will not be too much longer.
