Tom, of Sandbach, passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on 15th August 2026 aged 89 years. He was the beloved Husband of Margaret and treasured Dad to Tim. The funeral service will take place at Unity Methodist Church, Sandbach on Wednesday 9th September 2026 at 12 noon, following a private committal. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Unity Methodist Church, Sandbach and Ward 28 at Leighton Hospital.

Rip Tom. Well known up Sandbach heath. He was a good neighbour back in the old days.
Tom was the Electrical Systems training instructor at Fodens in the 1970’s and this was where I met him as I was an apprentice.
I know I can speak on behalf of our little reunion group of apprentices who were in the class of 1972 and we all found Tom likeable, fun, clever and an excellent instructor. We all held him in very high respect and regard and were all much saddened to hear of his passing.
He taught me so much which I used throughout my working life and indeed still use to this day.
He was the only instructor from Fodens who came to my wedding and I shall never forget him. Rest in peace Tom and thank you.
